WIT
Short for Women In Technology. Created not only to be educational but also to be fun, bold and witty. An app to teach women from all over the world all about computing. This was my final major project at the University of Northampton.
Research:
Females make up only 26% of the computing workforce and the gender gap only seems to be increasing. The biggest drop in interest starts from when girls turn 13. I decided to focus on this group and try to enthuse them about technology.
Outcomes:
I created an app for women to enhance your computing skills in a fun and educational way by practising for just 15 minutes a day. The app is supported by a campaign.
