Entry for the 2018 YCN Student Awards. This brief was about making the dogs in rescue homes the most desirable breed in the United Kingdom. People often have an image in their heads when it comes to rescue dogs and we wanted to prove that there's no such thing as a typical rescue dog.

In colaboration with: Selina Sandberg

Research & Ideation:

In order to make a rescue dog the most desirable breed in Britain, we wanted to focus on what makes them different to non- rescue dogs. By researching the matter and meeting a bunch of rescue dogs, we discovered that there is no such thing as a typical rescue dog and every dog is unique in its own way.

Outcomes:

A digital billboard and a tv commercial were created, prompting the viewer to pick which one of the dogs is the rescue dog. In the end it was revealed that they all were, informing the viewer that they may have a misconception about rescue dogs. It then led to a website, on which the user can read about the dogs first before judging them by their appearance.
